Femke has a passion for technology and development and is eager to effectively empower last mile communities and contribute to a more valuable and transparent supply chain. She holds an MSc in Social Geography and Advanced Masters in International Development.
As Liaison, Femke will be responsible for further growing Satelligence’s client and partner network in West Africa, as well as product and market development.
Satelligence CEO Niels Wielaard: “We are very excited to have Femke on board as she brings extensive local experience in traceability, risk analyses, and establishing and maintaining effective supply-chain dialogue with partners in the cocoa sector and beyond.”
Femke worked for 2 years at the Cocoa Abrabopa Association in Ghana and cooperated closely with UTZ Certified on their First Mile programme. More recently, she held a position as the COO of Farmerline Ghana, a fast growing social enterprise building technologies to connect rural agricultural communities to information, financial tools, resources and supply chains.
Femke enjoys taking her surfboard to beaches around Africa to catch some waves.
