R&D Intern
Mostaan is currently working as an intern in the R&D team, and his main focus is enhancing the current AI-based carbon models with remote sensing data. He is generally interested in the application of machine learning in geo-environmental context for earth observation, environmental monitoring and natural/urban risk management. He is finalizing his Master in “Engineering for Natural Risk Management” at the University of Genoa, with the thesis topic about the application of deep learning in remote sensing image analysis. He lives in Savona, Italy and outside of work he loves to play basketball and do unplanned off-road cycling.
