Software Engineer
Berto graduated from Groningen University in 2005 with a degree in Artificial Intelligence. He has been involved in software development for over 13 years in various fields, including telecom, e-commerce, water management, and remote sensing. As a software engineer, Berto helps to develop algorithms to detect deforestation globally, continuously. His passion is to use IT to build benefits to society and the environment. His current job as a software architect at Satelligence is a perfect fit to that. Out of office he likes to relax in his fruit tree garden.
