Software Engineer
Vincent has over 15 years of experience in earth observation image analysis and received his MSc in Tropical Agriculture at Wageningen University in 2001. At Satelligence, he has been the driving force behind the development of image processing chains and supporting algorithms and software for automated forest and land cover change monitoring in tropical areas. He has extensive field experience in several tropical forest countries including Indonesia (oil palm landscape surveys) and is part of the auditing team during the verification missions of the Guyana carbon accounting (MRV) system. Vincent is an omnipotent centipede, knows his math and statistics. He is aware of the latest developments in machine learning but also able to separate the hype from the value.
